Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern bookings, participation, conduct, and liabilities for trips/treks operated by Adi Kailash Yaatra. By booking with us, you agree to follow these terms along with our Refund & Cancellation policy.

1) Booking & Payments

  • Booking confirmation Your booking is confirmed only after we receive the required advance/full payment and traveller details.
  • Pricing Prices may change due to permits, transport, hotel rates, seasonality, and operational costs until booking is confirmed.

2) Eligibility & Fitness

Treks in the Himalayas involve physical exertion, altitude, terrain risks, and weather variability. You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and physically fit to participate. We may require a self-declaration/medical information if needed.

Safety first: The trek leader’s decision is final on-route regarding pace, acclimatization, route changes, and whether a participant must descend due to safety/health reasons.

3) Participant Conduct

  • Respect & discipline Follow guide instructions, group timings, local rules, and environmental ethics (leave-no-trace).
  • Prohibited activities Drinking, smoking, substance abuse, or any violation of trek regulations may lead to removal from the trek without refund/voucher.

4) Itinerary, Weather & Operational Changes

Mountain travel is dynamic. Itineraries can change due to weather, road conditions, landslides, permit decisions, government restrictions, or safety considerations. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary, accommodation, transport timing, or route as needed.

5) Permits, IDs & Documentation

You must carry valid government-issued ID and any documents required for permits/checkposts. If permits are denied due to documentation issues or incorrect details provided by you, we are not responsible for resulting losses or missed services.

6) Refunds, Cancellations & Vouchers

Refunds/cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation policy. Where applicable, refunds are provided only as vouchers (not cash), as per policy terms. If a participant descends mid-way due to safety/health instructions or violates rules, vouchers may not be issued.

7) Liability & Risk Acknowledgement

You acknowledge that trekking involves inherent risks including (but not limited to) altitude sickness, injuries, slips/falls, weather events, delays, and medical emergencies. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.

Limitation of liability: Adi Kailash Yaatra is not liable for indirect losses, missed connections, personal expenses, loss/damage of personal belongings, or events beyond reasonable control (force majeure).

8) Medical Emergencies

In case of emergency, we will try to assist with on-ground coordination, but the cost of evacuation, hospitalization, medicines, tests, and other medical expenses are the participant’s responsibility unless explicitly included in your package.

9) Photography & Content Usage

During trips, photos/videos may be taken for documentation and marketing. By joining, you consent to reasonable use of such media unless you explicitly request in writing before the trip that your identifiable images should not be used.

10) Intellectual Property

All website content, itineraries, graphics, logos, and media are the property of Adi Kailash Yaatra and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

11) Disputes & Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, unless otherwise required by law.

Yes. We may modify the itinerary for safety, weather, road conditions, permits, or operational reasons. We aim to deliver the closest feasible experience.
The trek leader’s decision is final for safety. As per policy, vouchers may not be issued for participants who descend mid-way due to such reasons.
Yes, in rare cases. Any replacements will be of similar category/utility subject to availability and route constraints.
